Forward of the discharge, Moriondo has shared the playfully creepy single ‘Hate It’, wherein she fantasises about carrying a stranger’s face to mattress or slipping it over her head and robbing a financial institution. Watch the monitor’s video right here:

Talking concerning the monitor, Moriondo has mentioned: “‘Hate It’ encapsulates all the emotions of jealousy, hatred, and obsession that may include a crush on somebody unattainable, or craving for a life that feels unattainable.”
“I’m so fucking ecstatic for this album to be out. I’ve been craving to launch it since its conception and I’m bursting on the shell attempting to not leak all of it now. It’s filled with vulnerability, frivolous crushes, despair, events, and 17 billion tons of salt water. The world is my oyster, and shortly it is going to be yours too!”
‘Hate It’ follows on from the earlier single ‘Shoreline’, whereas the album has been made with co-writers and producers together with Jonah Summerfield (Holly Humberstone, Tommy Lefroy) and Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese Home).
‘Oyster’ tracklist:

‘Catch’
‘Uncooked’
‘Hate It’
‘Abyss’
‘Oyster’
‘Shoreline’
‘Parasite’
‘7 Seas
‘Weak’
‘Use’
‘Sinking’
‘Pond’
‘Siren Calling’
‘Tooth (Deluxe)’
‘Women With Gills (Deluxe)’

Moriondo’s final album was 2022’s ‘Suckerpunch’, which NME awarded 4 stars, noting: “Regardless of turning the amps as much as 11 and approaching the album with reckless abandon, ‘Suckerpunch’ by no means loses the sense of vulnerability that made Moriondo such a relatable star within the first place. The PC Music-indebted ‘Hearteyes’ is an auto-tuned stream of consciousness about falling head over heels in love that isn’t ashamed of jealousy or making grand declarations, earlier than the sprawling ‘Weight loss plan Heartbreak’ wrestles with self-doubt and loneliness within the shadow of self-empowerment.”
Most lately, Moriondo was chosen as one of many BOSE X NME: C23 artists, with their tune ‘Killbot’ being featured on the mixtape.
