The new collaboration is said to “mark a new era of Spanish music releases for Marshmello.”
Last month at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Marshmello brought a surprise special guest onto the mainstage in front of 50,000 ecstatic fans.
It was the chart-topping reggaeton and merengue star Farruko, who helped debut their brand new collab, “Esta Vida.”
The new single, which has now hit streaming platforms alongside a worldly music video, follows last month’s release of “El Merengue” with Manuel Turizo. “Esta Vida” features the entrancing voice of Farruko alongside the uplifting beats by Marshmello, who has more collaborations coming in the world of Latin music.
“These Latin collaborations mark a new era of Spanish music releases for Marshmello,” according to a press release.
Directed by Justice Silvera, the official “Esta Vida” video follows a rags-to-riches story with Farruko at its epicenter. He is depicted as both a homeless man and a celebrity, surrounded by fame and fortune.
