New Study Shows Masked DJs Immune to COVID

Masked DJs everywhere can get back to playing gigs with peace of mind, because according to science they’re 4121% less likely to contract the coronavirus (COVID-19).

New research from the Masked DJs Association reveals that any form of helmet, ski mask, mau5head or otherwise serves as immunity against the virus. That means deadmau5, Marshmello, Malaa, Claptone, The Bloody Beetroots and more are in the clear — and we’ll probably see them on more and more lineups in 2021.

The organization worked through a number of scenarios using replica face coverings of various touring DJs, some of which are mentioned above. Local talent were brought on for the experiment, given masks, and asked to perform live sets in COVID-infested clubs.

Due to their iconic nature, Daft Punk helmets were most effective in fighting coronavirus. When lit up, deadmau5 and Marshmello helmets experienced an immunity boost, and when paired with Jack Daniel’s, Malaa masks achieved optimum results.

If you made it this far, the study also confirmed it’s 100% April Fool’s Day.
